Mrs. Jamilah Bint Jamil is a mother of 4 who lives in Johor.

–Ā  She suffers from partial paralysis after an accident at her work place.Ā
– She has undergone 3 major surgeries because of her paralysis. She cannot afford to pay for her followup operation.Ā
– Jamilah earns around RM 1000-1400 per month depending on the sales at her food stall.Ā

Jamilah is a 40 years old disabled woman from Pasir Gudang, Johor. She suffered partial paralysis after an accident at her workplace. Her husband works as a factory operator in Masai, Johor with a monthly income of RM1500. She has 4 children to take care of, all of whom are still in school.

Today, Jamilah runs a small-scale food business. She is a very hardworking woman who tries her best to help her family despite her disability.Ā On an average, she is able to earn around RM 1000 to RM 1400 per month depending on the number of customerā€™s she gets. According to her, the income earned every month (including husbandā€™s income) is not enough for their family’s expenses when coupled with the medical expenses to treat her disability.

To date, Jamilah has undergone 3 operations. She is supposed to go through the fourth operation but she does not have sufficient funds to cover even a quarter of the expenses. On top of that, the hospital charges extra for the cost of treatment and the devices that are required to be inserted into her hips and legs.Ā Due to the many financial constraints and her disability, Jamilah is determined to become independent and wishes to empower herself by expanding her own small foodĀ  stall (gerai makan) in front of her house.

Monthly Expenses Breakdown:

She hopes that when her children have completed their studies, they will become the pillars to support the family. As a mother, she is trying her best to support and meet all the necessary costs so that her children can focus on their studies properly. Such dedication is highly commendable and should be supported by usĀ Jamilah is a living example of the hadith of the Prophet ļ·ŗ regarding those who try to work to earn a Halal and respectable income instead of begging others. At GlobalSadaqah our mission is to empower such people so that they go from becoming beneficiaries to benefactors themselves. This is the core of our mission to Circulate Good.

Ā

Even the smallest of donations count. Allah loves all those who give and help remove a difficulty of a fellow Muslim. The donations from this campaign not only help Jamilah set up a decent business but will also help bring smiles and mental peace to a needy family.

To empower herself, she plans on expanding her small scale food business. Through your donations to this campaign, Jamilah will have the opportunity to expand her gerai makan food business further. It will help her to buy better tools, more raw material and equipment to increase her daily output and satisfy her customer demand so that they return to her for more business
The donations to this campaign will be used to cover the business expenses instead of taking from her daily income. The donations will provide her the cushion to use her income to take care of the daily expenses of her children and her medical needs instead.
To make sure that your donations reach their maximum potential, Jamilah will undergo a special training course that will help teach and enhance his skills in running a business. ā€‹
