CAMPAIGN STORY

While most of us are working from home or maintaining social distance due to Covid-19, our healthcare front-liners are risking their lives to make sure that our nation and its people affected are recovering. These unsung heroes of ours are sacrificing their times with families and friends to put an end to this terrible time. As the number of cases rise, the supply of medical gear and protective equipment is fast depleting.

No matter how small, we can also play our part and contribute, to support these front-liners by buying them with essential supplies and the armour that protects them whilst they carry out their duties on top of the current support they receive from the government. Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation, MDEC has partnered up with IMARET, a reliable and certified NGO that follows the MKN20 protocol, to distribute the items to hospitals and ā€˜Klinik Kesihatanā€™ nationwide.

AID PREPARATIONS
MDEC, calls upon all tech companies in Malaysia to join this national campaign to help support all those who are battling the COVID-19 crisis in the front-lines. Doctors, nurses, aid Workers, and all those involved in the medical field have to face extremely dangerous and life threatening situations. Our help, support, and the knowledge that the nation stands strongly behind them will be an immense positive boost for them. Your donations to this campaign will help IMARET purchase and distribute the following to the front-liners battling Covid-19:
  • 200,000 Units of PPE/ICU Suits (Sterile Protective Coverall)
  • 2-3 Million Ply Face Masks
  • 100,000 Face Visors
  • 20,000 Units of Space Suits
  • Food and General Supplies
  • Required Medical Equipment

CAMPAIGN UPDATES

IMARET distributed Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) such as isolation gowns, hood covers, N95 masks and face shields to Hospital Kajang.Ā 

Kajang, situated under Hulu Langat district of Selangor, remained on the list of Red Zone. It records the highest case in Selangor, amounting to 445 in total in the district.
