Campaign Story
Welcome to Phase 3 of Masjid Abu Bakar.
Masjid Abu Bakar Ash-Shiddiq is the main community center in Kampung Islami Thoyibah. It is the only masjid available in the radius of 5 kms.Ā
Alhamdulilah through your help and support, GlobalSadaqah has managed to:
1. Relaunch the construction work of the Masjid as can be seen here
2. Build a Wudhu facility for women as can be seen here
For the next step, we move on to build a minbar for the MasjidĀ
Despite the masjid still under construction, the local community is very active in participating in all prayers in the Masjid. Keeping this in mind, the authorities see the minbar to be an important and much needed addition to the Masjid.Ā Ā
A Minbar is an elevated stand used by the Imam or the community leader to address the congregation, generally during the Friday prayers. The minbar also functions as an important tool for communicating with the community, and making special announcements.
For every good and authentic practice that the community learns from the minbar, our donors will share in the reward for helping to facilitate it.Ā

āThe Masajid of Allah shall be maintained only by those who believe in Allah and the Last Day, perform As-Salat (Iqamat āas-Salat), and give Zakat and fear none but Allah. It is they who are on true guidance.ā
[Surah At-Taubah, 18]
To contribute in building a masjid is a way for a person to continue to earn a multitude of blessings even after death. How?
Abu Hurairah reported: The Messenger of Allah ļ·ŗ said, āWhen a man dies, his deeds come to an end except for three things: Sadaqah Jariyah (ceaseless charity); a knowledge which is beneficial, or a virtuous descendant who prays for him (for the deceased).ā [Muslim].
Itās not just about the quantity of the donation. The main aim is the quality of our donations and being a part of establishing a House of Allah.
