Growing up as a refugees with an uncertain future is a nightmare to everyone and I seem to be living in one. My parents made me realize that we are not going to remain refugees forever.
We have try our best and make the changes for our future generation. I realized that without education I cannot go far, let alone become a lawyer that I had always dreamt of becoming. I don’t want to be just a normal lawyer, I want to be successful lawyer.
To grasp my dream, I have to study hard and of course that is not easy with having a family financial distress. Nevertheless, my parentsā moral supports and encouragements are good enough to make me see myself in the next 15 years or so, back to Myanmar, along with my people, freely express ourselves without fear or favors. Yes, to speak up and work for our freedom. But that can only happen if I make my move now.Ā
